End of Day Three
Ok, so it was so/so today. We were 1 and 3. I think he is holding it in and that just doesn't seem too great. No poo poo today at all. We sat on the toilet three different times for an extended period and nothing. When we were in Walmart he started holding himself so John ran him to the bathroom and success! For some reason just doesn't feel right. Hope we are not causing him to be constipated or something...we'll see how tomorrow goes.

Hang in there, Julie! Just think of how nice it'll be in a couple of months...one less pack of diapers to buy and preschool fun for Jack! After TEN days of Aves just not gettin' it (and my gratitude for hardwood floors at an all time high), the sitting every hour on the potty--and every time she had an accident--just started to click with her, making the total of hits to misses more balanced. Our girls were so motivated by the 'potty parade' where the whole fam marches and sings for each success. Maybe I just liked it for the times your bro marched around singing 'pee-pee in the potty!, pee-pee in the potty'!!
He didn't poop when he was here on Monday. (I forgot to tell you.)
Remember the underwear they use to sell with the really thick crotch that absorbed everything if they went pee, but at the same time gave them the wet feeling? I think those helped so much. They don't like feeling wet plus you don't get the mess all over the carpet. I think they still sell those. You should try them. Good luck!
