A Healthy Breakfast?

So mornings are not my favorite, but I do have to say we get up and have a nice breakfast together - usually a hot one that I have slaved over (trying to follow my mom's example.) Anyway, we got cup cakes one night and there were some leftovers, so Jack wondered if he could have a cupcake for breakfast. Well, I had been sick and was still feeling tired and worn out PLUS (and here I must admit the voice of Bill Cosby rang in my ears) cupcakes have eggs and milk in it...so WHY NOT? Here is the after picture. Turns out he really only wanted the frosting (we still have the milk factor right?) Anyway, just thought I'd share one of my mother of the year moments.
Here they are the night before eating their cupcakes - and yes it was after dinner. How did they all get frosting on their faces?

Here is the must have action shot.

Cup cakes for breakfast? Sounds like the breakfast of Champions to me. It happens sometimes at our house too. Left over treats are too tempting in the morning.

I improvised a little but here's my little song for you..."Mom is great! Give us the chocolate cake!" That's going on my new self-titled album, Nate Fisher Himself.

That is indeed the breakfast of champions! I have been know to walk into kids care (on my way to teach aerobics, nonetheless!) and all of the kids have a chocolate chip cookie in their hand (I also stand by the "eggs and milk" line!).
I want to come to your house for breakfast :)

Like Grampa/Like Grandson today...'cuz I think Grampa Mission had some chocolate cake for breakfast this morning because when I went to get the piece left from the FHE last night at Bowens (to put in our "sack lunch for the office)there was just a smidgen in the pan. Love, Grampa 'n Grama Mission - Argentina
